Maintenance Manager 

To ensure the care home environment is safe, well-maintained, and compliant with health and safety standards for residents, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out routine maintenance and repairs across the home
  • Ensure all health & safety regulations are met
  • Conduct regular safety checks (fire systems, equipment, utilities)
  • Manage external contractors and service providers
  • Maintain maintenance logs and compliance records
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and must be on call to deal with emergencies.
  • Oversee building security and general upkeep
  • Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for residents

Skills & Requirements:

  • Experience in maintenance or facilities management
  • Knowledge of health & safety regulations
  • Practical skills (plumbing, electrical, general repairs)
  • Good problem-solving abilities
  • Reliable and proactive approach
