How much does care cost, and what is included?
The cost of care varies depending on the level of support required and the type of room chosen. Our weekly fees are designed to be fully inclusive, covering accommodation, meals, personal care, utilities, housekeeping, and a full program of activities.
We’re always happy to talk through costs with you and provide a clear breakdown, so you know exactly what to expect.

Do you accept Local Authority funding?
Yes, we do accept residents who are funded by their Local Authority, subject to an assessment.
To qualify for financial support, your Local Authority will carry out a financial assessment based on your income and assets (including savings and, in some cases, property).
- If your assets are above £23,250, you will usually be expected to pay the full cost of your care.
- If your assets are between £14,250 and £23,250, you may receive some financial support, but will need to contribute towards your care fees.
- If your assets are below £14,250, the Local Authority will usually cover most of your care costs, although you will still be expected to contribute from your income.
Funding arrangements can vary, and in some cases a top-up may be required. We’re happy to guide you through the process and help you understand what support may be available.

What types of care do you provide?
We provide a range of care services tailored to individual needs, ensuring each resident receives the right level of support at the right time. These include:
Residential care – for individuals who may need help with daily activities such as washing, dressing, or medication, while still wishing to maintain as much independence as possible in a safe and supportive environment.
Dementia care – specialist support for those living with dementia, delivered by trained staff in a structured, reassuring environment. We focus on familiarity, routine, and personalised approaches to help residents feel safe, comfortable, and understood.
Palliative care – compassionate, dignified care for individuals with life-limiting conditions. Our focus is on comfort, pain management, and emotional support, working closely with healthcare professionals and families to ensure the best possible quality of life.
Respite care – short-term stays that provide temporary support, whether for recovery after illness or to give family carers a well-earned break. Residents receive the same high standard of care and are welcomed as part of the home during their stay.
Each resident benefits from a personalised care plan, designed around their individual needs, preferences, and wishes—ensuring they feel supported, respected, and truly at home.

What is a typical day like for residents?
Life in our home is centred around comfort, choice, and overall wellbeing. We place great importance on creating a supportive and enriching environment where residents can continue to live fulfilling and meaningful lives.
Each day offers a balance of social activities, relaxation, and personal time. Residents are encouraged to maintain their independence and continue with the hobbies and routines they enjoy, whether that’s reading, gardening, music, or simply spending quiet time in familiar surroundings.
We also provide a varied program of activities designed to support physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing. From group sessions and social events to one-to-one engagement, there are always opportunities to stay active, connect with others, and even try something new.
Above all, we recognise that everyone is different, so each day is shaped around individual preferences—ensuring residents feel comfortable, valued, and truly at home.

Are visitors allowed, and can families stay involved?
Yes—family and friends are always warmly welcome. We believe this is the residents’ home, and visitors should feel as comfortable and welcome as they would when visiting a loved one in their own home.
We actively encourage regular visits and ongoing involvement from family and friends, as maintaining these close relationships is an important part of emotional wellbeing. Whether it’s spending time together in the lounge, enjoying the gardens, or simply sharing a quiet moment, visitors are a valued part of daily life here.
We also offer private dining facilities, allowing families to come together and celebrate special occasions such as birthdays, anniversaries, or seasonal events in a more personal setting.
Our team is always on hand to keep families informed and involved, providing reassurance and peace of mind that their loved one is safe, happy, and well cared for.
