Maintenance Manager
To ensure the care home environment is safe, well-maintained, and compliant with health and safety standards for residents, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out routine maintenance and repairs across the home
- Ensure all health & safety regulations are met
- Conduct regular safety checks (fire systems, equipment, utilities)
- Manage external contractors and service providers
- Maintain maintenance logs and compliance records
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests and must be on call to deal with emergencies.
- Oversee building security and general upkeep
- Ensure a safe and comfortable environment for residents
Skills & Requirements:
- Experience in maintenance or facilities management
- Knowledge of health & safety regulations
- Practical skills (plumbing, electrical, general repairs)
- Good problem-solving abilities
- Reliable and proactive approach
